hey, I finally got some decent speakers -- KRK VXT4's (4 of 'em), which are so much better than my crappy stereo and more than excellent for my apartment. I can finally hear what this 200e can do (I have an 8-module system). I am satisfied with the sounds it makes -- they are plenty rich and deep as well as wild enough and I am finding great tones can come from very few patchcords. I have no idea how most of this music box works and the manual is over my head -- so I am largely just leaning thru experimentation. And reading this very worthwhile forum, of course. Thanks everybody who posts info and tips, it's totally helpful to this 200e owner. Here's a general (i.e., vague) question or maybe just observation -- I have noticed that making a connection that shouldn't (as far as I can tell) impact on a certain patch nonetheless sometimes alters (and significantly) the sound of the latter.
