OK
Just done this .

Put sound that was metering on A B into C D but how do i get metering 
showing on C D I use my headphones to listen to A out B out and that 
worked when A B were plugged in, but plus same A B sound into C D and C 
D output no levels or metering?
I have set the headphones to front/rear.
