Thank you Worsel! Well my system is a 12u, the modules that I have are the following: (1) 227e (1) 266e (1) 291e (1) 225e (1) 210e (1) 292e (1) 281e (1) 259e twisted (1) 261e (2) 230e The Buchla was directly patched (2 channels) to a Jomox T-Resonator for reverb, echo end light feedback effects. Then from the T-Resonator, the stereo signals gone into a TEAC A-3440 1/4" tape recorder. Everything was recorded live without any edit or overdub. Most of the tracks featured self playing patches that I had tweaked here and there. For track # 2 I've used a Midi keyboard to control all the 4 oscillators of my 259 and 261 (using the modulation oscillators as sound sources too) By using the NOTE MESSAGE BUSSES instead of the internal busses, I was able to get 4 voice polyphony and play pads like sounds. Then I've recorded the tape on my mac using Logic with an RME Fireface UC audio interface. No plugins were added (no eq, no compression) except of a limiter on the master. And again, no edit has been done. you can watch a vid of my system, playing a self composing patch, here: http://vimeo.com/14520300 hope this was not confusing.. my english is getting rusty ;=) best Giorgio > Thanks for sharing this !! > > Would you like to tell us about your system and the recording process? > > Worsel > > --- In 200e@yahoogroups.com, "Giorgio Sancristoforo" <Tobor@...> wrote: > > > > Hello fellow Buchla users > > > > Just a few lines to announce a new TOBOR EXPERIMENT release > > Recorded on crunchy analog 1/4" tape, "TALES FROM DIONE" is a trippy journey into old school electronica. > > Entirely composed with the Buchla Electric Music Box 200e. > > > > :) > > > > http://win.gleetchplug.com/music/tales.zip > > > > best regards > > giorgio > > > > Giorgio Sancristoforo mobile: +39 3493541198 www.gleetchplug.com www.audioscan.it http://soundcloud.com/giorgio-sancristoforo http://vimeo.com/user1118029 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
