Re: [200e] 200e System #2 - COMING SOON!

2010-11-05 by don hassler

Actually, Yasi worked up my configuration after I changed my order from my
original 6 boat plans. Its simply 2/3 of a 12. I went with the plywood for
durability. It has worked out very nicely for me, as I like to play out with it
as much as possible. Its light, easy to move around. It's very comfortable to
play. As an experiment to see if a smaller system would be sufficient to sustain
my interest, it has worked out wonderfully.
The alterations to the 259e were especially exciting, and once Ezra pointed out
the parallel universe/Mr. Spock w. goatee aspect of the mod osc's in track mode,
the instrument has been even more fun!

Don...Thanks for your advice...I was looking at your system on Flickr...is that

a custom cabinet aftermarket job or a modified buchla cabinet holding your 200e
modules?...John

I'd think the 250e's stage addressing features, including the strobe,
continuous, along with the jumps and loop would be tops on the first encounter
list. The 261e has some very nice bonus behaviors when the mod osc is set to
track, while fm'ing the principle. The 291e is a rabbit hole all by itself. I
think the system will keep you busy for a long time!

I'll be receiving my system soon. As a Buchla newbie I'm curious if anybody has
any suggestions regarding a system made up of the following:
*6-panel boat
*250e
*261e
*281e
*291e
*292e
...any suggestion or advice. Thanks John / ether^ra Blogspot
