The main control modules on our system include the 222e, 250e, and the 266e. It's an 18 rack that is very similar to Buchla's system #5 on this page. http://buchla.com/series200e.html I haven't decided my route of attack yet. I like the idea of building a giant patch and performing live, but I feel that it might be smarter to break down my sounds into small bits and load them into samplers within my DAW. --- In 200e@yahoogroups.com, Chris Muir <cbm@...> wrote: > > > What do you have to control it with? > > On Mar 7, 2012, at 9:41 PM, Jeshua Whitaker wrote: > > > Our MIDI module is out of comission at the moment, and I was told that it wont be replaced until April. > > > > --- In 200e@yahoogroups.com, Chris Muir <cbm@> wrote: > >> > >> > >> On Mar 7, 2012, at 9:48 AM, Jeshua Whitaker wrote: > >> > >>> Hi, I am a student learning synthesis at college and I want one of my final projects to be a complete composition on our Buchla 200e. From my experience with the system, doing tonal music can be quite a challenge, do you guys abandon the thought of tuning it precisely to reference pitches? > >> > >> > >> It does equal tempered notes just fine over MIDI. > >> > >> > >> > >> Chris Muir <-Music Industry -> Eardrill > >> cbm@ cbm@ > >> http://www.xfade.com http://www.eardrill.com > >> > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > Yahoo!
