This might be common knowledge but I just noticed this while messing  
around trying it as a vca...

You can use any of the modulation inputs (A,B,C, and "all") to mix an  
additional audio input into each
or all sections of the 291e by simply not assigning a mod buss  
(fm,am,bw) and turning up the mod index.
At first I thought it was bleed through but I see it's intentional  
now.  Brilliant!

I think i've counted at least 7 different ways to mix or attenuate  
audio within my setup so far.
