Thanks - glad you're enjoying it. I'll likely post more about the instrument and my discoveries as time goes on, but I think one thing in particular worth mentioning, especially if you haven't watched the Intro video, is that I'm largely bypassing the envelope generators (the 281e module) in favor of direct amplitude control from the Continuum. When I've used modular instruments in the past, I almost always controlled dynamics with EGs and VCAs in the usual way, but have found that I have much more control over the dynamics by using the depth or pressure dimension of the Continuum patched directly to the VCAs (the 292e). The Continuum is responsive enough that a fast finger attack will give me a fast envelope directly into the VCA - maybe not as snappy as the 281e itself, but fast enough for me. Or I can use a very slow attack and get a correspondingly slow envelope. From there, of course, I can dynamically vary the amplitude of each voice independently with finger pressure, so my manual envelopes can have as many stages as I want (within the limitations of my technique, which I'm working on). I'm finding it musically very liberating and expressive to work this way, surprisingly so, given that amplitude isn't as "sexy" a parameter as pitch or timbre. But it turns out that having direct finger control over the dynamics for each voice really opens up my playing, particularly for the kind of music I like to do. So that's probably the most unusual discovery I've made so far - certainly the one that's surprised me the most. >Very cool Richard.
