any more photos? what does it say on the blank panel?

also i am soon to order an 18 WLS just wondering how the buchla length 
compares to the jp8? i assume the jp8 is longer

The 18 WLS is just slightly over 27 inches wide.

What are the metal plates on the side of the cabinets? Mine doesn't  
have them.

same here.... i noticed the early models had the plates on the side , but mine does not ....  hmmm...... i like the autographed blank ... great idea!

the plates covers boat to boat wiring, maybe they found that the wood
gets too thin after all in the WLS cabinets. The plywood cabs has it
but they also had thinner sides.
