Kinesthetic Input Port

Kinesthetic Input Port

2008-07-05 by maldoroar

Hell-o everyone
i am new here. I dont own a 200e but i am very interested in it. I am wondering how the Kinesthetic Input Port system & the control plate works. For example- how does the pressure plate affect how the Complex Waveform Generator behaves ie. Does it open the module up in a huge variety of ways- almost like having multiple joysticks on one module? What is it like in terms of playing the instrument? Are all individual sections of the plate available all of the time even with one module? Can it be sent to audio inputs as well as control voltages? For example- can you assign one "finger" on the plate to control the frequency of a 261e principal oscillator so that you can move your finger about with varying pressure & if so how does the frequency behave in relationship to the movement of your finger? If i understand the 222e correctly i imagine it opens the system up in a huge variety of ways. Is this accurate? And also what are the "rings" you use with the plate?
Please excuse the amount of questions but im totally fascinated by the behaviour & functions of the plate & the ways in which it is incorporated into the system. Any information would be most appreciated. Thankyou
 -Matt
p.s. im interested in how it works with all other 200e modules as well!
