I don't think so.
If you notice, there are CV and Pulse Out jacks on its front panel.

Yeah, I know about the CV and Pulse out jacks, but the DARF also
routes 4 pitch values *internally* to 259e's. I'm just wondering if
the 225e serves as a router of sorts through which the pitch
information must travel.
