need advice 222e or more modules

2009-01-28 by cray5656

hi all

just need some advice...I have 5 panels left to fill on my system and
have been looking at the 222e which will take up 4 spaces and I have
the option to get the ringmod or the 256e.

I think I would use the 222e more as XY gestures than the touch panel,
but at the same time it looks to be great fun :-)

But not sure what I would use most out of the 285e or 256e.???

Ideally I would like to buy another single boat to put the 222e touch
into but then it becomes less portable.

I am more into creating short abstract sounds, Don Hassler would
probably know my stuff best..

What do people think? I do expect advice from Mr Muir :-)

If you only need the spacial controls, you can save panel space and money and buy
Lightning. To say that you won't use the touchplate is like saying that you won't use the
knobs ...
The touchplate changed the way I approach my system. I would not discount it until you
try it.

Hmmm...

I think you have set up a false dichotomy: 222e or more modules.

There's the obvious solution of more or larger cabinets. :-)

Re: [200e] 222e how sensitive is it?

As I cant try before I buy I would love to know how sensitive the touch
pads are.....would i be able to do fast drum rolls etc?

Re: [200e] MODEL 201e-2 : POWERED BOX

2009-01-29 by ezra buchla

you could, but it would not interact with the preset space of the
cabinet and would IMHO look a little weird.
