Bi-Directional 210e

Bi-Directional 210e

I wanted to test the 210e and see if it can pass signals from both directions, but thought to ask the group first, before I fry my system!

The question is; can I use the 5 outputs of the 210e as inputs, and use the 8 inputs as outs? It seems as though I am always using just a few inputs and wishing I had more outs. Will reverse wiring damage the module or even work???

it won't do damage, but it also won't work.
i've had the same feeling, sometimes, about input count vs output count. i
think it's possbile to convert them in firmware...

fortunately if it is a firmware option to be implemented, it is no
problem to mount the module upside down. ;-]
