modulation osc slower

2009-11-11 by tartarboy

Hello,
I'm trying to figure a way to make the modulation osc on a 261e or 259e go slower...so far i've come up with nothing, and i couldnt find anything searching the archives...any suggestions?

A fixed negative voltage to the CV in?
Cheers,Brian

AFAIK, that doesn't work on the (e) modules like it does on "classic" 200 series modules. You can, however, create slower modulation shapes with the 249 or 250. For instance:

1. loop 2 stages
2. Set one stage's CV value to 10, the other 0
3. set one stage to interpolate
5. set the interpolating stage duration to 30 seconds, the other, as 1ms

You now have a 30 second ramp or saw wave depending on the stage that is interpolating.
