I'm pretty sure B&A is incrementally changing and improving details so I wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot of variations in details My lamps are marked in huge white lettering e-Ray 12 and the company seems to be J&R. I'm pretty sure they are BNCs, they just have a metal covering around the connector. The BNC sleeve seems to be just grounded to the case itself. The BNC pin is wired to a "+12" on the top side of the board. Just a guess but you may have an older version of the bus too. I would also guess you could just tap into the unregulated +12v rail somewhere. I just got my 222e and there are definitely some changes from the first units out, so I'd think what you'd need to modify would depend on if you are using the wood frame and if you have an older unit with the ring charger in the case. My unit came with a pair of standard looking USB adapters, so I'm connecting the rings to them rather than mounting them on top of my case. My case came with holes for the ring chargers, which were open, something I never much liked visually. I can see the advantages of having separate chargers. Oh, my recent 222e also has a different LCD display than the rest of my modules or in photos of older units. It's grey rather than black when off and when on is backlit black characters. To connect to the case the 222e connects to a male 10 pin ribbon type header on mounted on the bottom of the top boat near the back. Then you run a long ribbon externally to the wood frame with a similar connector on the bottom side. I've not tried to mount mine in the case but the long ribbon would directly connect to the input module without the external boat connector, then the ribbon would run through the hollow part of the side cheeks like and directly to the tactile unit in the bottom boat. So I guess if you have a newly made 222e I don't think you need any new provisions if it goes inside the boat. You aren't using the external connector and you don't have the chargers on top. Nick
