quick 225e question

quick 225e question

2011-10-03 by Bakis Sirros

hi,

just received the 225e midi decoder module and its
midi I/O panel. the midi I/O panel is not connected to the 225e
module.

so, my question:

is the black ribbon cable, from the midi
I/O panel, connected to the 10-pin socket that is on the top of the back of the
module (near the midi in LED), or in the 10-pin socket that is near the bottom
of the back of the module?

(there is a third 10-pin socket, between the two
pcb's, but at that point is very very difficult to reach, so i assume this
socket is not for connection of the MIDI I/O panel ribbon cable.)

please waiting for your reply, so i do not destroy
anything....

thanks for your help in advance.

best regards, :-)
Bakis.

quick 225e question

2011-10-03 by Frank Hettlich

Hi Bakis,

good news thzat the package finally arrived. They probably shipped the package via airmail on friday but did not update the tracking infos. So delivery could took place on monday in greece where there is no bank holidays...very weird at all...

Regarding the midi I/O panel I kindly ask you to ask this question on muffwiggler because my friend dismounted it while I am on tour and the last time I mounted it I cannot actually remember...I might ask my friend if you like?

The last Buchla stuff I still have are:
- 291e
- 201e-18 18-panel Powered Cabinet
- 2*201e-4u 4-panel unpowered Boat (rack ears included) but only 1*power interconnection cable
- 258v
- Eardrill Pendulum/Ratchet

IF I would sell 1 or 2 201e-4u 4-panel unpowered boats it would only make sense to ship them with the expensive DHL Express option when you buy another module, I think.

All the best

Frank
