This recommendation was directly from HP when I purchased the device while in pharmacy school, first you lose the scroll bar and then slowly the 50G would burn out. Judging by your comment I would say that you are somewhat skeptical, I would recommend that you contact HP calculator support and ask HP Calculator support to confirm my statement. If indeed you call HP calculator support I would ask that you consider that all support agents are not alike and you may receive recommendations that are different than my agent - if so take the recommendations with a grain of salt.
