Yes. If you are not in RPN mode I am not sure if it will work. 

Get into RPN mode, type the number, press the menu key. It will assign
it with units. Note that you can assign units with prefixes, such as
1.2_mA by typing in just like that. R shift menu or L shift menu will
recall the current value
