Is there a way to enter the whole equation at and solve it in one step? Sorry for so many questions but im really new to this and alot of the stuff in the pdf user manual seems to be going over my head.

by the way thats supposed to be cubed not multiplied by 3

You want to simplify the expression, right?
The easiest way may be to enter the expression using the equation 
writer (EQW), then use expand (EXPAN) in the algebra (ALG) menu.
