Does anyone know how to add a capacitor or two to an exsisting formula? I tried hooking my hp50 to my computer but it doesn't seem to work,I thought that maybe I could alter the formula that way. Is that possible? Thanks Tony

I can't say I'll have an answer for you but you can try to be more specific...like what program are you using? What doesn't work when you connect the hp50 to the pc? Are you not able to do anything, transfer files for instance? Or, are you just not able to alter a formula thru the pc? --- On Thu, 3/5/09, tony <anthonypicariello@...> wrote:

Having used the equation library a zillion times, while I initially thought I would need to modify stuff to get done what I wanted, I quickly found that to not be the case. You can easily use the tools to get the job done on you understand how they've set it up. If you'd really like to modify it though, it is very easy to do. Select the equation you'd like, hit SOLVE, then when you exit, go into N.SLV, SOLVE EQUATION, and there you have your equation (which is stored into the variable name EQ). You can then edit to your hearts content and save it as something else. TW
