how to solve INDEFINITE INTEGRAL

how to solve INDEFINITE INTEGRAL

2010-01-07 by J

Hello everyone
I tried on my own and could not do it...tried google using "Indefinite Integral", a fake site almost put a virus on my computer, so please help! I want to enter INDEFINITE INTEGRALS and have them solved. I tried the Equation Writer but I cannot get my equation to look like what I saw on the manual, that is, in the manual every equation starts with a semicolon, then I guess I'd have to press IBP for Integration by Parts, etc...CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME ONE FULL, DETAILED, STEP BY STEP EXAMPLE so I can use it to learn how to enter different Indefinite Integrals?
thanks

Hi,

The function you're looking for is INTVX. I use the custom key assignments to remap my integral key to that function.
All you need to do is put the equation on the stack in terms of x and call INTVX. It will take care of the rest.
You can find it on the SYMB key, under the CALC menu.

Hope this helps,
Rodney

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
