In the Ctrl Matrix, under the VOICE/SCENE SETUP menu, what is the value for Depth 
parameter? If it is set to 'dirct' that would account for the wide range in value for the VCF 
Cutoff. Change the Depth parameter to a '+' or '-' value and this will be an offset from the 
VCF Cutoff value saved in your Voice.

If this fails to address the problem, then you will want to open your AN1x case and check 
the internal ribbon cable connector for the Ribbon Controller is affixed to the main board 
securely.
