>Yes. Disabling it in the Matrix Controller Setup. RTFM. >Best Regards, >Daniel Mandic WTF? So let's get your "advice" straight - you're saying that if the ribbon controller is not assigned to anything in the control matrix it will eliminate the problem of having it jump back to a center setting when a finger is released. Great advice. If the ribbon controller isn't assigned to any parameter - OF COURSE it won't jump to center -- it won't jump to ANYTHING AT ALL because it's NOT ASSIGNED TO ANYTHING IN THE MATRIX. Just what page in the manual should I f****** read? From page 75: When you select [RIBBON] controller "A.RbX" as the "Source" controller and Pitch Up/Pitch Down as the "Parameter", the [RIBBON] controller value will be reset to the center position when you release your finger from the [RIBBON]. The sets with different Parameters (other than Pitch Up/Pitch Down) keep the position at which you release your finger. The problem is that this isn't true. I have many patches that only control the filter which return to center. Jon, I'm afraid that this question wasn't ever solved with a solid answer. An obvious experiment would be to A/B a couple of patches; one should perform "correctly" and not return to center and one should do the nasty. I'll get on my AN1x later and see if I can find any patch that performs "correctly". ** One note beyond - I run my AN1x in "mode 2" for the MIDI data because there are a few functions that work better with a guitar synth. IIRC someone said that the MIDI mode may have been the cause of this strange ribbon unpredictability. *Ed Edwards* ><> <>< <>< ><> http://www.ezekielswheel.com http://www.untiedmusic.com/ezekiel http://mysite.verizon.net/vze29bq6
