The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

The guitarist in the band was crazy enough to let me produce and mix 
down a couple of the songs for the upcoming album (which has been 
upcoming for the last 5 years). Ha ha. I was good. I didn't cut the 
guitar solo too much. Added lots of AN1X synth strings, little bells, 
and synth sweeps. If I get the bass lined back up (how did I do that?) 
and if I figure out how to make MP3s, I'll post the results on the 
web.The AN1X sounds damn good in a mix.

I actually managed to record a MIDI sequence on the computer and get it 
to play back on the AN1X--got the arpegiator to work and everything. It 
took most of a morning to figure it out and it sounded awful when I was 
done, but I am now almost up to 1980 when it comes to music technology.
