The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Help!

My AN1x sends searing, crackly sounds on all voices. It clips, cuts 
out, and so on. It was dropped once while moving; I wonder if I broke 
the amplifier...

Now, weren't this my main synth, I'd think it was awesome. It almost 
sounds circuit-bent. But I want my unadulturated AN1x sounds back in 
the mix... so, any clue on how to fix this? I've never repaired 
anything electronic in my life. Would Yamaha still repair it? Would 
anyone here? ;)
