I replaced the battery and did a full reset. Still no help with the scene buttons/matrix row selection. I also tried pressing the solder joints, they all seemed ok. I checked all ribbons and wires I could find with the same results. Any more ideas? The diagnostics runs fine except for when it says 'scene' because obviously, the button isn't responding. At that point I have to power down. Any suggestions on how to find a reasonable repair facility? Will Yamaha service this? I'm near Chicago if that helps. Any idea what I can expect to pay? Any idea what could be causing this sort of problem? I haphazardly bought this knowing full well that it wasn't responding like it should but my want overwhelmed my logic. I spent $200 on it, which is I suppose what they cost fully functioning. I'm typically very good at getting deals. This time, I was on the wrong end. I bet I could sell it broken for $150 and buy another one for $250 and end up loosing $100 on my original purchase. That being said, I don't want to spend more than $100 on repairs. Thanks everybody, you've all been really kind and helpful. -jesse ____________________________________________________________________________________ Now that's room service!
