The only American synth mfrs. are Alesis and Peavey (if they still make them). Kurzweil is owned by Young Chang (Korea); Oberheim is really Viscount (Italian); Emu/Ensoniq (merged) are owned by Creative Labs (Singapore); Moog/Arp are defunct, although Big Briar is Bob Moog's new company.
