FWIW, I replaced my AN1x battery 2 days ago, and I didn't loose any of the patches

(the 'battery low' message was the first reason I subscribed to this list btw)

I did a memory backup with Sysex Librarian first (working great btw)

but I didn't had to use it to restore the memory afterwards.

better have an electrical screwdriver though, because there are 33 of those !
