The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Hi Everyone
I purchased a AN1x on Ebay last December and i have been in love ever since with its smooth sound.
The person whom i purchased the synth from, gave me a large library of patches to explore, so i just downloaded and installed the AN1xEditor v1.1 on my WinXP SP2 PC, but i can't seem to get it to send patches to the AN1x. The program keeps on freezing and i can't even kill the process.. i have to restart my computer. Also, sometimes when the patches do get sent to the AN1x, i lose all sound coming out of the synth and i have to restart it.

I also tried a soundiver adaptation for the AN1x with similar results.
I am able to get a dump of all the patches from the AN1x, but i just can't seem to be able to audition any patches loaded into the AN1x-editor.

Has anyone experienced similar problems?
any help would be appreciated.
