Peace, brothers & sisters ! AN1x edit runs well under Windows XP (and earlier versions of course). Never tried with Vista (bullshit...) or Seven (much better). You can install AN1x edit using an option in the setup menu, something like "istall as" (i don't know the exact terms in english, i have a "french" windows...), and start it the same. I guess it will work, but i've never tried. If someone has tried the trick i would be happy to know the results... MIDI is MIDI : of course, troubles come with SOME MIDI - USB interfaces. The reason(s) is (are) unclear and likely depend on the "faulty" interface : driver compatibility ? buffer size ? others ? And there is no "rule of the thumb" to choose it, cheap interfaces can work as expensive ones don't, as the opposite. On the forum site i remember there is a "MIDI interface topic", where the "good" and "bad" ones are listed. Cheers.
