Ok, what happens if you don't, just wondering, not being picky! I have checked the manual for the Peavey and it is auto sensing on power up, So no cutting my tip or soldering my ring! The peavey is has 2 holes for CV/F.switch as well if the roland won't take either. The roland keyboard doesn't have aftertouch, I don't really know exactly how aftertouch works, If it's on a per note basis then a foot pedal of any type isn't really going to help me there I think!
