The Step Sequencer on the AN1x is intended to emulate the old, pre-MIDI control voltage sequencer's used during the 1970's and early 1980's. It's a lot of fun to use the AN1x Seq and you can make some creative stuff (especially with the Free EG in sync) but it is not a polyphonic, multi-channel sequencer such as Cakewalk. AN1xEdit makes editing Seq a lot easier than doing it from the front panel of the AN1x. I think Yamaha took the 'emulation' thing too far ;-) ha ha just kidding. They made it about as simple as they could, I suppose. > I know it my sound dumb to > some of you but i just got this machine about a month ago any help > will be good > No, it doesn't sound dumb :-) Everybody has to start somewhere! BTW - congrats on the new AN1x. Regards, Jon -- http://www.jdlx-musique.com/
