The AN1x has nothing to do with how your JP responds to program change commands. The AN1x is dutifully transmitting program change commands as it should. The only option on the AN1x which would affect the transmission of MIDI Events is the MIDI Tx Ch setting - which can be set to one of sixteen channels or OFF. The JP series supports two layers per sound - 'tones', right? Are there independent MIDI Rx Channnels for each 'tone'? If so, it's possible you need to disable the program change receive for BOTH tones in your JP patches. One would think this would be a global setting but it is possible Roland limited it to a per patch basis - stranger things have happened. Could you please provide more details regarding your set-up. Are you simply using AN1x MIDI Out --> JP MIDI In or are you using a MIDI patch bay/interface in conjunction with a software sequencer? regards, Jon
