The XT's are very popular right now too. At least two or of my friends and acquaintances have bought an XT in the past month. Not really comparable to a Q but an interesting synth. I'm so jealous :-0 can't wait to visit for a 'jam session'. I think the PPG 2 VST Synth is all my budget will permit - ha ha ha > Anyway, pragmatic synthesist I am, here's my "AN2x" wishlist: > > - Add triangle waveform > - Make step-sequencer a little more user-friendly > - Programmable arpeggio patterns > - at least 4-part TRUE multitimbral > - syncable LFOs > - update oscillator sync range (for true Prophet-5 sync emulation) > - higher dB output > > Now, is that so hard? > I'm going to piggy back my short wish list along with yours: 1) I'd like the Arp/Seq to transmit Note Events when LOCAL = OFF 2) When the Tempo is set to MIDI (for sync to MIDI Clock), I'd like the synth engine to trigger from the physical keyboard when my software sequencer is in 'Record Pause' mode. As it stands, you have be in record mode to trigger Note On Events when MIDI Sync is enabled *sigh* 3) MIDI Sync LFO's would make life easier too. Oh yeah, and transmit MIDI Clock too ;-) Regards, Jon -- http://www.jdlx-musique.com/ Featuring support for the Ensoniq ASR-X Pro Sampler and Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer
