The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Hello, I'm brand new to this list- woo-hoo! (or maybe some will hate me- but 
I don't give a fig!)

This is mainly a question for Jondl as his/her name kept popping up 
everywhere- whenever I put AN1x into the search engine- I suppose a good 
place to start!

I've had my AN for about 5 years now and absolutely love it- but I have 
problems when trying to sequence using Logic Platinum on my Mac G3.

a) When using the AN in bi-timbral mode it often locks up and all the 
parameters in say Chn 1 start affecting Chn 2 as well- This is a bastard- has 
anyone else had this problem? (I always end up having to leave it in single 
mode)

b) Hanging notes when using Logic, but not when playing from an Akai MPC 
(eh???)

c) since I lost the Data book long ago, I read somewhere about different 
modes that the AN1x operated in- could a difference between Mode one and two 
be the answer?

There's a few other questions (like not being able to get the Mac editor to 
upload) but I'll start with these first.

Also does the AN200 sound EXACTLY the same?
