For Sale -- RED Sound DarkStar analog modeling synth in LN condition.  I bought this piece back in early December of last year, used it for exactly four gigs plus a similar number of practices.  It works fine, looks perfect, sounds great; I just have to pare down my gear, and this module is too much of a clone of other items to make the cut.

For those of you who are not familiar with the DarkStar, it's an 8-voice, 5-part poly synth module built into a tablet-sized metal box, with lots of good old knobs and switches on it.  The sound reminds me of the Korg EX-800 or the Prophet 600 -- raw analog, with no effects or other fancy trimmings.  It makes a great layered bass synth or an arpeggiator source.  A great feature of this module is that it transmits MIDI CC data when any of its 14 knobs are turned:  Even if you despise the sound of the DS itself -- and you won't -- it makes a good MIDI controller for other modules.

I have the original box and manual.  I'm looking to get $150 for it, and I'll even throw in one of my switching AC adapters that work on 100-240VAC 50-60Hz, in addition to the original wall wart supply.  Contact me offline for more details.
