I've never heard of a lock-up from it though - maybe a bug when using the Tempo Delay effect? Anyway, there is a hardware fix and I had it completed on my AN1x while it was still under warranty. I've detailed my experience on my site. Check the URL below and go to the Tips & Tricks section of my AN1x page for details... > Also, on one of my AN1x's, as soon as I touch the ribbon controller, > it keeps defaulting to the lowest (left setting), instead of having > the middle be the default. From your description I issue the Ribbon Controller setting has been altered under the Ctrl Matrix menu (under VOICE/SCENE SETUP.) 1st check the Filter Cutoff value for your voice make certain it is not '0'; then check the Ctrl Matrix for a Set where Param is assigned VCF Cutoff and Source is assigned A.RbX; then check the Depth control and set it to positive value or even 'dirct' - you should be able to use the Ribbon Controller in a more predictable manner. If you *still* have problems - just upload one of your 'problem' voices to the Files section here at eGroups so that one or more of us can "see" what's going on.
