Hi Warren, Check the archives; this issue was discussed as some length a few months back. It seems to be a bug/feature of the AN1x, and if my memory serves me right it happens when certain settings are programmed into the synth, and not in other cases. It's a bit frustrating, but I think you'll have to learn to live with it -- the AN1x has been out of production for quite a while, and I doubt that we'll see any more firmware upgrades.
