Well, its hardly just you and it's not age I think. It's just that so 
much is possible with software. The other day, at musicplayer.com, 
somebody presented a mix for people to respond to. People liked it. 
Nice saw wave leads, warm analog sound, etc. Turns out all the sounds 
from leads to drums were done on a free drum software called stomper!

Needless to say I downloaded stomper. :)
