Hello, u can use any sort of knobs on the AN1X but ... funny enough if u get a common D shaped fit they will look misplaced by 180 deg .. yamaha must have done this on purpose also on my EX5 i have the same problem ! or maybe this is like A and B on potmeters log lin in rest of world but lin log in Japan :-) so u need one type that can be tighthen from the caps top u can see an examples on the first pulse in my rack http://home.wanadoo.nl/atoni/Studio/rack3.jpg that type of knobs also fits in the an1x and u can point the arrow in any direction u want ..
