The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Is the AN200 supposed to respond (change patt/prog) to Midi program change messages ?
My unit doesn't , 
although it seems to respond correctly to all other midi messages.
I am  able to use the AN- PC editor also.
I wrote Yamaha , and they just told me to use the editor.
Can anyone give me a more definitive answer ?
