Hi all,

guess it's something in my PC and/or in Win2000: over the weekend i 
brought my office notebook home and hooked up my synth to it: 
everything runs wonderful, just as I had expected in the first 
place. The notebook runs under WinXP.

Thanks again for your attempts to help; guessI'll have to go 
shopping these days...
