Hi Gino,

No, the 1.03 - or more recent 1.04 ROM - will not address this issue.
The SysEx files from the AN1x are large in size relative to other
hardware synthesizers and have always been touch and go when
performing a bulk dump via USB. But based on our past conversations
and my recent experiences with a MT4 and OS X (10.2.6 - now running
10.2.8) I'm surprised your are having problems with SD 3.1.

I've recently tested bulk dumps under 10.2.6 using SysEx Librarian
http://www.snoize.com/ and MIDI Dump Utility
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/mpergand/ with my AN1x. Both applications
worked fine - I found SysEx Librarian to be the easier of the two to
configure and run. If you haven't tried it yet I would suggest you
give it a go just to determine whether the problem is specific to SD
3.1 or not. I haven't run either since upgrading to 10.2.8 but my
recent experience with 10.2.8 is a major improvement over my last try.

Feel free to email me offline if you need to. I still haven't made
time to download SD but I have ordered my Logic Pro upgrade :-P so
I'll get around to this sooner or later.

regards,

Jon
