Another thing - make certain Local under UTILITIY SETUP on your AN1x is set to OFF
when working with a software audio/MIDI sequencer such as Cubase. This will
disengage the keyboard from the internal tone generator eliminating the
possibility of double triggering note events and permit your sequencer to rechannel
the MIDI output correctly.

Basic setup woul be:

AN1x MIDI Out -> MIDI Interface In
AN1x MIDI In -> MIDI Interface Out

Set your AN1x to MID Tx Ch '1', Rx Ch '1', Device No. 'all', and Local 'OFF' and MIDI
Ptn Tx Ch 'OFF'.
