AFAIK, Gary wrote 'only' AN1xEdit - not the other freeware editors for AN200/
PLG150-AN. It's possible Yamaha wil port them to OS X but they don't have a track 
record for moving quickly on this type I thing. I encourage you to email YCA and 
indicate your support for OS X updates.

AN1xEdit will NOT be ported to OS X. In short - the OS 9 version was a 'freebie' 
conceived and iniitated by Gary's good will - not Yamaha - and the tools used to 
compile the program from Win -> Mac are since discontinued and did not offer a OS 
X version to begin with. Please feel fre to search the list archives for more info...

There has been talk of the SoundDiver 3.0 (beta) on this list which supports the AN1x 
- Gino has been running a copy with mixed results: problems performing bulk dumps 
via his AMT8. However, he has been able to successfully use the same OS X SysEx 
dump utilities I have used with my MT4 so this *might* be somethig specific to SD 
and not MIDI communications. I've not yet downloaded a copy of SD 3 - planned to 
wait until my Logic Pro upgrade arrived but at this pace I might just go ahead.

I've been running OS X on my 450 MHz 'G4' (ZIF upgrade) beige, desktop PowerMac 
(with waaaay too many aftermarket hacks) for 10 months now - I rarely go back to OS 
9 at this point. My advice is to upgrade but be prepred for a learning curve, i.e., don't 
plan on starting major initiatives until you get the hang of OS X. I suggest you scope 
out OS X Audio http:/www.osxaudio.com/ to begin with. Also, the Discussion forums 
at Apple.com are a gold mine of info regarding the snags that occur during
