The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

when i try to do a request from my synth into the editor i keep 
getting this error message:

receive error!

i know i have all my midi cables hooked up correctly and also have 
everything configured properly in my computer i think. it worked the 
first time i did it but now i can't get sounds from my synth into the 
editor. anybody got advice. thanks, i know i'm a pain in the ass, but 
i'm coming along. -tommy
