I was thinking about using a "p-touch" thinning, I'm gonna go to the dollar store, my friend told me they have the old school plastic ones, if i can pull that off, I think I'm going to spray paint it "yellow stinger" camouflage. 
 
That could look cool!

I would use rub-on transfer letters instead.
Search for 84130-05 for letters or 84150-05 for numbers here:

Rub the missing letters on and secure with a thin layer of transparent 
nail polish.
