Jimmy, Sounds like you've turned Local Control Off, which disconnects the AN's keyboard from the tone generator. So now the AN is only playing stuff it gets back from your VK, and only when the channel matches. It's probably in the manual under connection to a sequencer, where you have midi echo on the sequencer and don't want to get notes played twice (once by keyboard and once by sequencer). I do remember I had to assign each AN1X scene to channel 2. How come they don't have nice clear instructions on how to do basic stuff in the manual? They always have cool little diagrams of various MIDI setups, but never tell you how to do it.
