It's not normal. Plug the phones into the headphone jack (the one that's all the way over) and you should hear lovely stereo. Jimmy

Hi Joe ! first : try another headphones set . If the stereo sound is back it's either the headphones or the headphones male jack . If not : 2 : try to plug your synth in a stereo amp* with a good pair of cables in the 2 output jacks and listen ... If you have both channel it's the female headphone jack (on the back of the AN1X) that's faulty . These jack are often a cause of troubles , less likely than with guitars but .... If not 3: edit your patch and check if the pan setting is not "full right" or "full left" . And if you have no chance the output amp has one channel out .... it could be only a loose solder, a broken wire or ... You have to open the synth to check these points. If you have no basic electronic knowledge, ask your friend or your brother or your neighbour or .. somebody else who has . As the AN1X is not a real analog instrument it is far more reliable than old time synths and less prone to failures . But you can have some contacts problems with the jacks or the internal connectors . @+ J.F. *It's line level outputs so you can plug them in the "aux" input of your HiFi amp or any line input (mixer, instrument amp ...) . Take care when using mike or guitar inputs with high sensitivity if you don't want to burn something in the amp... an1x_joe a \ufffdcrit : >Thank you Jimmy, > >but i plugged the phones into the headphone and only can heard by the >left and If i plug the phones into the output right the sound listens >by the left headphone too. > >Is my an1x damaged?. > > > >--- In AN1x-list@yahoogroups.com, "spaceanimals" <rainbowjimmy@...> >wrote: > > >>It's not normal.
