Hi, i read on the web there schould exist a bank for the AN1x imitating the JP-8000 presets. I did not found it here. Somebody had it ? Thanks in advance.

Hello!

I am completely new to this (and a total idiot). I've been able to transfer .AN1 files between the AN1Xedit program and the synth. I understand that AN1Xedit can "export" a patch set to a .mid file. But when I try and open a .mid file with AN1X edit program it crashes.

Two questions:
1. Can I use the AN1Xedit software to transfer .mid files to the AN1X?
2. Is there a different program that I can use to transfer .mid files to the AN1X (preferably free or cheap)?

Thanks! I'm having a blast playing with sounds on this beast. I really want to try out these JP-8000 sounds too!

Mid files is midi files. and is supposed to be imported into your 
sequencer daw. (sysex can be used int the same way, so when they is 
imported in your seq. daw and is on a track they will transmit or dump 
the voices into your an1x synth.


    in the an1xEdit it's better to use copy and past from the 'edit'
    menu, to arrange or sort individual voices, you can copy and paste
    across differnet 'banks' .

Hi,

A registered copy of my an.factory librarian will export AN1x files to PLG150-AN and AN200. There are limitations of course in that only the first layer of an AN1x dual layer voice will be transferred.

So with an.factory you can open AN1x files and export direct to the AN200, or copy the AN1x voices to an AN2 file.
