If you don't mind me asking, what is your complaint? Is it a product issue or dealer/distributer/support issue?
I am just thinking that if it's the 'product' (or 'support), then someone on the list may have some suggestions/workarounds that may help you out.
Cheers,
Phil

Hi PinheadX, I can certainly appreciate your frustrations! To avoid all the hassles in the past of having misplaced power cords and instruction manuals, I always ask for a factory-sealed fresh box, or a I thoroughly inspect the contents if there's only one left that has already been opened. Just to let you know, there is nothing too special about the power-supply. You should be able to pick one up from any local electronics shop. It must obviously be suited for your local power, that is 110V, but as for the AN1x specifics, it just has to convert to 12VOLTS 1.0AMPS. They certainly aren't made specifically for Yamaha. You should be able to get Yamaha (or your retailer) to source one locally. A lot quicker then having one shipped to you. I hope this helps... Let us know how you get on, Phil

***Hi again Phil,
I can certainly appreciate your frustrations! To avoid all the hassles in the past of having misplaced power cords and instruction manuals, I always ask for a factory-sealed fresh box, or a I thoroughly inspect the contents if there's only one left that has already been opened.***The box was sealed with the Brazilian Yamaha's tape...and unfortunately that was the very last one so I didn't had any chance to ask for another unit. The salesman contacted the Brazilian Yamaha's office in order to tell them about the power supply issue and was informed that it would be shipped on the day after, but not that they'll send a wrong one.
Just to let you know, there is nothing too special about the power-supply. You should be able to pick one up from any local electronics shop. It must obviously be suited for your local power, that is 110V, but as for the AN1x specifics, it just has to convert to 12VOLTS 1.0AMPS.***I was using a borrowed one and I also tested a non-Yamaha power supply, but I was unsure about its safety (I noticed some weird AN1x's led flashing) and if anything go wrong I would lost the warranty. And after all I'd like to get the original power supply since I already paid for it....
They certainly aren't made specifically for Yamaha. You should be able to get Yamaha (or your retailer) to source one locally. A lot quicker then having one shipped to you.***Believe me, I tried...I even asked for a CS2x power supply since it uses the same one. I would get it at the store and then the Brazilian Yamaha should replace it after w/ no success...***I was only hoping that the Japanese Yamaha should make their Brazilian counterparts to behave properly w/ their customers in order to give me what I paid for...It's my last try before return my AN1x to the store and run to get that Korg Z1...:-(
I hope this helps... Let us know how you get on,
Phil

Hi again PinheadX, The LED flashing is normal - Weird, but something all AN1x's seem to do for no apparent reason. 12Volts/1.0Amps is the *only* specification (other than your 110V local supply) that you have to consider. Are there any electronic specialty shops you can try? They are readily available in Australia for under $30. But, I can certainly appreciate that you should get one as part of the original purchase. I'm sorry to hear you your having so much trouble. Phil
